And, if he loses 10% of his original base, it's a colossal failure.
"Hispanic voter" is a pretty broad category, wouldn't you say? Are Cubans or Argentians gung ho on illegal immigration? Aren't there many "Hispanic voters" who are opposed to illegal immigration? Why doesn't Bush go after them? Why doesn't Bush attempt to show groups like MALDEF for what they are?
