The parallel between this and the Schiavo case, concerns the need to generate publicity to support one's advocacy.

When Mr. Robinson went to Florida to support Terri's case, he spent most of the time on the phone drumming up media attention for the Schindler's and for Terri's plight. Why? Because media attention, positive or negative is critical, to the success of a cause.
