Obviously Iran could fit in somewhere considering their nuclear interest and development and Pakistan is also ready to pop with internal struggles. While I don't think the Russian proxy question should be tabled yet and I don't think the discussion on Russia is a ditch but a necessary first step in examining the global scene from the USA, there are many nations and entities playing both sides as you pointed out. Malaysia would be worth going over with a fine tooth comb. Islamic culture seems to play into duplicity automatically when dealing with the rest of humanity. And the socialist creep across the southern hemisphere is on our doorsteps.
