Typical. The liberal newspapers actually believe themselves to be so politically neutral that they usually appoint a flaming liberal to be their ombudsman.

I've seen a succession of ombudsmen in TWP. Mostly they are pretty neutral in their columns, but sometimes the bias comes out. I don't remember her being any more or less lib than the rest.
