Is anybody watching? Did anyone catch Ford's lie.

Does DM have an email address for his show yet?

Crooks. One of them was being investigated for bank fraud in Tennessee until the newly sworn in President Clinton fired the Justice Department attorneys and ordered the case closed.

And didn't one of the Fords literally write the Tennessee child-support law, and wants the law declared unconsitutional now that he has court-ordered child support payments?

I too have been a fan of DM for years. Let's just say I'm more comfortable with him on our side than on the other. Is that so hard to accept? DM's routine is sharper and more timely than, say, three years ago.

I will bow to you having more knowledge of Ford than I, since you live in Tennessee and I do not. However, I disagree with you that he is being groomed for the WH. If he is, it is of my opinion that it is not being done by the DNC. They had a chance to place him in a top position - Pelosi's spot - and they told him to get to the back of the bus. I do not believe the majority of Dems ever want a black to achieve national prominence in their party.

I agree. I saw tonights program and I liked the way Dennis Miller spoke to his guests. I get so sick of the smarmy, gushing, arse kissing talking heads that will not challenge anyone. I think Dennis knocks people off their game somewhat because they are not accustomed to being spoken to in such a manner.

If I had lots of money (you know, like rich democrats) I would run TV ads showing all these liars making the "imminent threat" comment...and after each one, I would show Bush saying "We cannot wait UNTIL there is an imminent threat"....that WOULD shut them up.

The GOP doesn't have the guts to run such ads.

I think his agenda is very simple: Keep DM and family in groceries, whichever way the wind blows.

"The President said imminent threat...the President said imminent threat...the President said imminent threat"

Is there anything in the FCC regulations that would allow citizens to file complaints against the networks based on the fairness rules (where the opposing side gets to make a statement) that could force the network guys to play the actual SOTU clip or read the actual sentence? Thousands of complaints from citizens for each incident (every news-type program on the networks where the newscasters or so-called journalists let someone repeat the lie without challenge) might have an impact if the networks were subject to fines for each affiliate that aired the segment. Each journalist should be required to immediately state "FCC regulations require me to read the actual quote."
