Oh yeah, I agree. I am not quite so good a Christian as President Bush. I hold grudges and when somebody attacks me I am wont to hit back harder and with everything I have.

It has served me well in my life but I'm not a politician.

The timing for our President to be on MTPussxxx was perfect.

He just shot down the WMD issue by giving honest answers.

BTW, the people calling on this show already had their minds made up before the speech. Notice the hate in the voices of the dem callers.

In the meantime, for God's sake, keep Bush OFF live TV!

Same President Bush as candidate Bush and the same ole bs that I heard 4 years ago. If you feel uncomfortable listening to President Bush, listen to John Kerry.

I saw only the last 20 minutes or so but he did okay but not brilliant, imo. He was his normal self..... sly wit, searching for words at times, stammering over some of them but that is President Bush. Nothing new in that nor that bad. This was one interview 268 days out and won't be seen nor remembered by a lot of the electorate one way or the other.

I'm listening to this interview on CSPAN; it doesn't sound like either one of them think Bush did poorly. Am I missing something?

York is putting Ryan in her place. Her true lib colors are really showing now.

C-SPAN splits their lines, so it gives the idiot W-haters more rope, imo.

the door is constantly left open for the President to walk through and shove it up the opponents butts yet he won't do it.

You never use your trump card until the final hand.

The debates in the fall will define the candidates just as they defined Al Gore in 2000.

Kerry will look like a long-faced Howard Dean and Bush will be the steady Bush.

Character counts for everything unless one candidate is a charming con man like #42.

Kerry is no Clinton.

He will come across as a mean-spirited Gore.

Notice Bushs critics only point out "how" he said what he did and not "what" he said.

I really hope that you are correct, I just don't know if our President has it in him.

This last arrogant twit did nothing but criticize Bush's style.

Condescension is very off-putting, and I encourage the Democrats to keep it up.

Which interview were you watching? I was impressed with Bush. He came across as believing what he said. To me, that is the most important criteria in judging a politician during an interview. It only takes a few seconds to realize whether the interviewed is full of crap. I don't get that impression from W.

Russert was true to form. He hammers the Republicans but blows the Democrats.

Ryan thinks the issue of gay marriage is "gripping the nation." Not to worry, April, it WILL end up in the Supreme Court.

"...the door is constantly left open for the President to walk through and shove it up the opponents butts yet he won't do it."

I think Bush subscribes to the old adage "give 'em enough rope and they'll hang 'theirselfs'".......which is what his opponents do, at regular intervals.....

Heart-stopping, at times, but fun to watch!! ;^)

Democrat callers to C-Span are some of the most disturbed people on the planet.

The ones that aren't drunk or retarded spout wacko conspiracy theories about the Carlye Group or AEI that they feel compelled to share with us poor, unenlightened folks.

Then there are the "smarter" than the rest of os type that point out how, since most Americans feel that Iraq was involved in 9/11 and there is no proof that it was, Bush is "fooling" gullible Americans about the reasons for going to war.

I guess they are sure Saddam Hussein would never think of providing WMD technology to terrorist groups, satisfied only to send the families of sucide bombers in Israel 25,000 dollars, confident that such a man would never dream of harming US interests.

If only the callers to the rat line could be rounded up and placed on an iceberg, left to float slowly in the Arctic Ocean, with nothing for heat but their own hot air.

What do you expect? C-Span is the epitome of liberal media. They're just a mouthpiece for the loony left. Their phone bank is a nesting ground for liberals. I wouldn't expect to hear any intelligent talk on a network like that.

The Interview was a mistake. A very high risk effort. Bush had little to gain from it and alot to lose. Never give your enemy ammunition. I fear that is what GWB has done.
