That's because Tancredo hasn't been a President, and hasn't proposed an Amnesty for Illegals.

If I was including non-Presidential Amnesties, I'd be including John Kerry, John Edwards, Howard Dean, and all of th other Democrat candidates, as well as John McCain, John Cornyn, Jeff Flake, and Jim Kolbe.

I am, however, slacking on the Clinton Amnesties, which legalized a total of about a million Illegals. I'll do it this week sometime.

Y'know, 'tooth... I can only think of two ways in which my statement might have conceivably irked or offended anyone here:

1.) They genuinely believe John Kerry to be "a viable alternative" to George W. Bush.

2.) They believe that a conservative web site is the proper place to advocate the election of a pro-tax, pro-abortion liberal Democrat to the Presidency.

I don't recall you ever openly stating Number One... and I'd just as soon go on believing that you haven't shifted over towards Number Two. That being the case, then: unruffle that fur, kitty. :)

There are four kinds of people on the internet. Right wing fanatics who will vote for Hitlerm left wing fanatics who will vote for anyone with a "d" after their name, moderates who think for themselves and "surfers" who don't care about politics. AndErgo, gossip on the internet is not going to change any votes. Whatever is written on the internet will believed by those who already believe it.

I don't fit into any of your so-called catagories. I am a Republican, and a Conservative...and proud of it.

That said, I would think a left wing fanatic would be much more likely to vote for "Hitlerm", I am guessing you meant "Hitler".

They might be a lost cause, but they still vote.

I'm not saying that the average Freeper is stupid, we on a whole stay much more informed. It's the people out there that just don't pay attention and make their decision on who to vote for at the last minute. THEY can be easily swayed by something they saw or heard months before, whether it was true or not.

There are many people with high IQs that just don't pay attention to politics. I have relatives that are VERY intelligent, and they couldn't tell you who is running for what, but I've had more than one ask me how I could support Bush, since he "dodged the draft" or was "awol".

Sound bites... it's all sound bites and this election will be decided by those that only hear them.
