Reinhold TImme is not Ebert's real name; it is the pseudonym he used for Beneath the Valley of the Ultra Vixens. It would have been rather incongrous of him to use his real name on the film right after he won the Pulitzer.

Reinhold Timme is a pseudonym? Not his given name? So Roger Ebert is his given name?

OK, I stand corrected. Funny thing is I corresponded with Ebert a few years back. It wasn't a very friendly correspondence, but he did reply to me. In that exchange of emails I mentioned that I had learned he'd changed his name from Reinhold Timme to Roger Ebert and he did not dispute it.
