Sorry Owen, but I don't see it as "huge". Manufacturer's are at still at risk, and you can bet we'll see them in a class action lawsuit before the next inaguration ceremony. I'll admit it is a minor win - this battle only for Bush - because he just avoided further alienation of conservative gun owners. The AWB sunset isn't certain yet. The GOP leadership - particularly Frist, still looks like a complete idiot to gun owners. He was incredibly silent on this when he had an opportunity to lead, rally, and truly point out the differences between conservatism and the current brand of Kennedy/Schumer/Feinstien/Clinton/Lautenberg/Boxer et. al. communism. He's not alot more than another AMA Physician who at heart thinks guns are bad - at least that is what his lack of leadership points out to me.
We've got RINO's running rampant during an election year when the last thing conservative voters want to see is their elected senators hitching their wagons to the aforementioned liberal jackasses. Frist should be cracking skulls and reminding them what happened in 1994.
You are right - at least our President didn't have this flaming bag of dog turds land on his porch.
