I think you're incorrect there NL.

The extension was added as an amendment to the Gun Liability bill, and the entire bill was defeated.

Ergo, no AWB extension.

The AWB does not "sunset" until September 04..

The amendment to S.1805 does place the continuance of the AWB in jeapordy, but a seperate bill to extend AWB could still be introduced..
Additionally, a new AWB (with expanded powers) could still be introduced between now and Sept. 04..

Just something to consider..
