Well .. the general impression I got from the President's press conference was that he was not a happy camper.

I do agree - I hope this will cause a slight shift in having a team ready to take on these constant attacks. McAwful told them - we are going to immediately counter-attack everything you do [paraphrase]. They need to take that warning seriously - perhaps this was a wake-up call.

But .. like Rush said yesterday .. keeping up this level of hatred for 8 months will be difficult. People will get tired of it; either participating in it or hearing it.

I posted similar a few days ago. If the people are blasted with ads for 8 months, they are going to get very tired of both candidates regardless of whether the ads are positive or negative.

I can't see why they are blasting ads this early anyway. So what if the poll numbers shift. They will continue to until after both conventions.

After the conventions is the time for the ads. To show any this early seems to be a waste of time and talent and money.
