I believe the difference was that the Clinton people were specifically selling nights in the Lincoln bedroom. In this case, it appears that Pres. Bush is just having people stay at the White House, and sometimes they stay in that bedroom. There is a difference, although it won't be presented that way by the press or the dums. If my assumption is wrong and the Bush folks were actually selling sleepovers, then shame on them.

We need to find out if Laura received contributions like Hilary did for her Senatorial run.
Personally I think a stop should be put to this from all parties and after the Clintons I wouldnt want to stay in there for fear of catching some kind of disease.

According to that list, everyone who stayed over was known by the President and First Lady before his run for the Presidency. x42's sleepover guests were new to the party, meeting him for the first time when he was running for President, and donating to his campaign. That is vastly different than having old school buddies, and personal friends from way back who also happen to have donated to President Bush's campaign.
