We had to turn it off. I love Law and Order, but enough was enough. How blatantly biased can you be.
Upon turning the channel, however, we stumbled upon breaking news that a UC-35 had crashed at MCAS Miramar in San Diego about two hours ago. My husband and I were recently stationed there and likely know at least one of the crew. Prayers, please, for all souls on board.

I clearly recall that he was referring to KlingtonYou are mistaken. He was referring to George W. Bush. Also, derogatory remarks were made against Poppa Bush. It was absolutely disgusting.

I never said the show was completely balanced; I said the show has more balance than most other TV shows. The liberals outnumber the conservatives, but at least there are conservatives.
I am not an encyclopedia of L&O episodes. Those were the ones that popped into my head of as being totally pro-conservative. In addition any episode featuring Abby (3 years) or Branch (2 and counting) has the conservative viewpoint represented, and all the abortion episodes have pro-life, pro-abortion, and fence-sitters represented. Moreover, from time to time, characters such as Schiff, Brisco, and even Logan (who said that we should stop all immigration now), have represented conservative ideas.
Is it a biased show? Yes. But it's not too biased that I can't stand watching it.

Good show most of the time. Calm down before you blow a gasket; its Hollywood entertainment.

And Fred Thompson is a total sellout for being part of it. Isn't that the truth?

There are still a few decent people left in Hollyweird, but they sure have to work overtime to counter the idiots, don't they?

"The RAT hatred of President Bush is so strong . . . " Actually, I think it is extreme self-hatred born of personal and party failure. Hate transference results from ego protection and denial.

I quit watching it about a year ago when the iraq war was referred to as a "war no one wanted" (no mention of the millions freed).
My girlfriend still watches it, and I get even more irritated at it now. There's always some smart ass slam against gun owners or christians.
They're all rats and pinkos. The only way I could enjoy it now would be if they had Lenny, his partner, and the black woman boss all get blown away. (Preferably gut shot.)

I've been sick of the "ripped from the headlines" controversial issue and watch how an obvious liberal slant and an anti-gun ad can be thrown it and used for suckering the American public to believe it as FACT.

...I quit watching it about a year ago when the iraq war was referred to as ...On an episode last night, Ed and Lenny (the black and white cops) had an interesting pro-con discussion of the Iraqi conflict, and Lenny kept supporting what Bush is doing, freeing the Iraqi's from Saddam (so you think Saddam should still be in power?-Briscoe)... so that's the flip side!
It's called "entertainment". It is not education!

I got rid of my TV years ago. I suggest everyone here do the same. You don't need, nor is it good, to have your reality spoon fed to you.

I'm a big fan of Law and Order: Criminal Intent.
As for the 'regular' Law and Order show, I hardly ever watch it. I just can't stand the two lawyers on that show. The show is really only worth watching up until they catch the criminal; after that it's turn the channel time.

There was one episode not too soon after 9-11 where they had a "focus piece" on arab profiling.
Then, later on, when Carter went to the Congo, the Anti-American writers REALLY let their talents fly! I remember Carter having a conversation with one of the French nurses. She was telling him how horrible things were in the Congo, Carter asked "Why don't more people help?"...her reply, "There's no oil here!".
Law & Order used exactly the same line in an episode about the plight of the Falun Gong tribe in China.

In fairness to Law and Order, they've gotten some good shots in at Slick as well over the years. A suspect who got oral sex was said to have received a Lewinsky. A woman was asked if she had come on to a prison guard by flashing her thong. And best of all, another suspect was told he had left underwear at the scene with presidential evidence on it.

We are in the opening scenes of a great battle for the heart and soul of America. A cultural war in the very sense of that phrase.
Not since 1775-1776 and 1859-1860 has the nation been so polarized and the vitriolic hatred so strong.
All the flotsam and jetsam of the anti-war movement of the 1960's and 70's has finally floated to the top - Kerry, a traitor, liar and villain of the worst order running for President, Ted Kennedy - a virtual killer and moral degenerate passing judgement on good, patriotic Americans just doing their jobs, the leftist media and their stool-igeons in the general Democratic population energized as never before, are heartland threatened by foreign lunatics with nuclear bombs, one political party pandering to a world council of third world petty dictators, the very fabric of our Constitutional government - the Bill of Rights and the Separation of Powers concept threatened by the very judges and courts sworn to uphold and protect it, the Judaeo-Christian rock upon which this was nation was established undermined by atheistic and Islamic moles.
We need another leader who will do to the Democratic Party in America what Ronald Reagan did to the Communists in Eastern Europe and Russia - shine the light of truth on this bloated maggot and totally destroy it.
A two party system? Sure, but make sure BOTH parties are pro-American!
Have you seen Lord of the Rings? Well, the Democrats are the Orcs, Kerry is Saroman and we are the last humans left.

Excellent summary of the state of our country today. I just said to my husband last night while watching the news how much I missed the country of my childhood.
Everything is upside down. Gays allowed to marry.....filthy language and actions on network TV...unbridled hatred of our fellow Americans...a presidential candidate (Kerry) spewing hatred and lies as he preaches to the country. Give me the 50's anyday
