"I think the quote, the quote in the comment I made publicly, I believe, was that I `heard from,' that's the direct quote," Mr. Kerry said. "I've likewise had meetings. I've also had conversations. I said I've heard from, that was what I believe I said."

Oh, man ... he's taking lessons from Clinton.

You would see more Bush bumper stickers, but I think a lot of people are worried about having their cars vandalized.

This is part of my reason for not putting anything on my car. I won't wear buttons or campaign alone - for fear of being harassed or harmed. What a sad state of affairs.

I finally saw the clip on Fox.

But, it was handled by the reporter named Kelly something. He played very little of it, and characterized it quite charitably for Ketchupboy.

I saw 3 bumperstickers in my one-mile drive to the grocery store. The first one I spotted literally made me cringe. The stickers were on nice cars in a nice neighborhood. Go figure.

Lke I said, I haven't seen any yet, thank goodness!

How dare Kerry ask this question... I guess he was trying to find out if this citizen was one of those "crooked, lying" guys. Funny how irrelevant political affiliation was to the media when it came to the 9/11 families.

In Bethlehem, he told voters he had "had conversations with a number of leaders in the course of the last two years, up until the present moment," and that he had "also had friends of mine who have met with leaders, as recently as the past week I've heard from a couple."

"Had friends of mine who have met with the leaders"? This is right up there with his demand for an investigation into the Haiti situation, because he had "heard from friends" who had "talked to the people making these allegations" of kidnapping. Someone else said on this thread that Kerry has the maturity of a high school girl...this is further proof: and then my friend said, like, did you hear that this friend said that this national leader's friend said he was totally for Kerry and basically that he should win and then he told his friend to tell Kerry that? Now we have to deal with Senator Kerry's imaginary friends who talk to his imaginary friends.

BUST-ED.

Now we have private citizens doing the job that journalists are supposed to be doing

Only when it comes to the dems.

Yep. Freeper Calvin Locke had the best response I've seen to all this. He wrote: "When Gephardt pulled out, did he sell his imaginary friend franchise to Kerry?"

Marfans syndrome. That's what Lincoln had, right? Would've killed him if he hadn't been shot...
