She might be lactose intolerant. Try a lactose free soy milk for about 3 days to see if the gas goes away. If you don't have the right enzymes or ability to deal with lactose, the E. coli in your gut digests it. The products of that digestion are acid and gas. The acid can cause intestinal cramping. The gas problem is obvious.

I was wondering if that could have something to do with it. We were going to ask the Pediatrician at the next appt. if she hadn't improved somewhat.
