Highest state of alert in Camp Babilon. Intel sources reports there's a very serious threat of an attack. Soldiers off duty and non-military personel was ordered to move to the shelter. Some 150 vehicles approached the base. Their intention remains unknown. The near-by village has been deserted by its inhabitants. Camp Babilon is the headquarter of the Polish led Multinational Division.

"Some 150 vehicles approached the base."
Maybe they'll try out the old "we're just tourists, taking pictures" line.

Give me some time Gersh, ok I will find out for you.
Don't worry, he is fine, relax, God Bless you ok. Have hope, I will try to find out more info for you, but what you need to do is sit down, pray, and think positive. He is fine. Don't worry girl, everything will be fine :}}}}

I thought about that myself.
I haven't forgotten comments by Mansoor Ijaz and a couple of others who claimed that chem ready weapons have been found entering iraq over the winter.

If this is coordinated and planned, it's the absolute dumbest plan they could have. The biggest part of their success comes from the fact they blend in with the civvies and we can't tell them apart. American sensibility prevents our wiping cities clean just to get a few vermin (and rightly so). If they come out in the open to challenge us in a might-for-might battle, this'll be over in a heartbeat. We can only hope this is what they're doing. Perhaps we'll be lucky and they'll have Sadr with them.

I believe the best company is preparing for guests. I wonder if they'll be serving kilbasa.

I think this may explain why President Bush was so testy at that press briefing yesterday morning. The thread at the time said that he looked somber and worn. I'm guessing that they knew something was stirring. Perhaps there are going to be more hotspots and outbreaks in the next 2 weeks, and not just in Iraq. There's a wacky thread going around about how 4/19 is 911 hours after 3/11, and coincides with OKC and Waco. That theory is a little convoluted (and fails to factor in that in most of the world the date 3/11 is actually written as 11/3), but given how these nuts are into symbolism, not one to dismiss entirely.

I immediately thought of Bogdan when I read this. I am proud of our Polish friends and wish them God speed during this time.

This is COORDINATED AND PLANNED! I'm getting that sense too. If this is true then those that have contributed just played their hand. Time to notice who just threw down.

This isn't planned necessarily from a military POV but from a Political POV. they were hoping and planning on a weak US response to their actions. Instead, they will see overwhelming force used in retaliation. They'll know were serious and that we are NOT going away. At that point, more and more of these pitched battles will be brought to a quick end.
This is simply a test of US resolve. To that point, let's not lose the fact that, if John Kerry were President, we would probably be running scared.

I just heard news that they are using the A-130 gunships in several areas of Iraq. That should get their attention.
