Some of scientology is pretty good. Most of it is so-so. And some of it is pure evil.
I was able to cherry pick quite a bit of good stuff, without getting too badly burned in the process.
May I ask what your experience is? I'm guessing you've lost a friend or two the the, ummm, organization...

Scammintology is a fraud built on psychobabble. It has all of the underpinnings of a classic cult and the story line simply reveals what a bad science fiction writer Hubbard was. I have watched mini-cult leaders in action personally, I know who they're looking for as potential targets and I know how they do it practice their slimy craft. The leaders of Scammintology are a bunch of skeevy parasites not unlike ponzi scheme operators. I do happen to know a couple of people who distanced themselves from the scam but are now unable to extract their daughter. BTW, I found out about that long after I had come to the conclusion that Scammintology was simply a racket.
