Bathrooms are THE classic dead-drop.
An outsider (jihadist #1) deposits the bomb in the janitor's closet or insided a towel dispenser or other hiding place.
Then an airport employee (jihadist #2) with flight-line status comes by later to pick it up and deliver it to the actual target.
#1 and #2 don't know each other or ever meet, they are instructed by internet code or other clandestine methods.

Just before noon? This isn't very good reporting on the part of the networks if they haven't gotten somebody out there and figured it out by now....

I am flying out of there this afternoon. You mean you "were" flying out.... You're right -- it will be a long day for you. (FWIW, I hate the Atlanta airport...)

Back in the days of Vietnam protests, one antiwar group brought the federal courthouse (if my memory serves me right--it could've been another federal building) in Milwaukee to a screeching halt for days when they blew up a woman's bathroom. No body count, no injuries, but quite a mess.

"A bomb MAY have exploded at Atlanta's Hartsfield airport". Really emphasized the MAY and didn't provide any more details.Must have been quite a bomb. Or, maybe, just a quiet bomb)

Wow. That is one of the more impressive non-statements I've seen in a while. There is "no report" whether the bomb is real or a fake. Could be either. We just don't know. Haven't heard either way. No way to determine. We'll let you know as soon as we get additional information.
