Indeed. I own three .45 autos. One is a highly reworked Colt Officers Model - my compact Kimber outshoots it right out of the box. The third one is a custom souped up government model that my brother built for me years ago for competition (my brother's a gunsmith), it shoots like it's an extension of my arm. I'll probably bequeath it to one of my brother's daughters since I don't have any kids.
