"I see the commission members are out today....spewing their opinions before this inquiry is even finished!..."
It is what McCain/Feingold Campaign Finance reform has brought us. "The Commission" the investigative arm of liberals in an attempt to destroy President Bush's strength, his credibility.

Richard Ben-Veniste is on CNN. It will be interesting to see whether the program was pre-taped before the release of the PDB.
Maybe it was and BV will stick his foot in his mouth over the PDB.

Last night I was reading the long thread about this after I got home and Pukin Dog said that they are taped Saturday afternoon.
This should be quite interesting. Heheheh.
To: TomGuy

There is no way that Wolf Blitz and CNN would let Ben-Veniste be sandbagged like that. None.

No, but Chris Wallace has him on Fox this morning and that was definitely pre-taped. Heheheh.

I see Fox News Channel a banner:
"Awaiting Coalition News Conference in Baghdad".
2 min. warning.

Coalition press conference starting soon.
To: Alas Babylon!
I see Richard Ben-Veniste (aka "Bent Penista") is all over the talk shows to spin,
spin, Spin, SPIN! This guys has had fingerprints all over the Clinton coverups--from the search of Vince Foster's office to Hillary's illegal health care con meetings.
I cannot believe he sits in judgement on others whose character he could not emulate in 1,000 years.

I wonder why Fox has not taken the responsiblity to review the tape given the latest information and at least contact BV for his reaction to the latest developments.
Heheheheh.

No, not true. As the long time keeper of this thread, I remember this question being asked and investigated (numerous times). Very often important guests get interviewed after leaving the studios--occasionally making newsworthy statements--all on Sunday morning. Fox News Sunday, Meet the Press and Face the Nation are all done Sunday morning. I can't speak for This Week, but when David Brinkley was running it, it also was done Sunday morning. CNN? I don't know. Pukin Dog may be right on that one.
To: Alas Babylon!
Dittos. Thanks for doing this every Sunday.

Maybe because this is Easter weekend the interviews were done early.

The media lap dogs and the Dirtycrats will continue operate in their Bizzaro Alternate Universe and try to brainwash the American people into believing that "Bush Knew!" was the gospel truth.

Democratic and Republican members of the 9-11 commission saw the document differently.
Democratic commissioner Bob Kerrey, a former senator from Nebraska, said the memo's details should have given Bush enough warning to push for more intelligence information about possible domestic hijackings.
"The whole argument the government used that we were focusing overseas, that we thought the attack was coming from outside the United States this memo said an attack could come in the United States. And we didn't scramble our agencies to that," he said.
Richard Ben-Veniste, a Democratic commissioner and former Watergate prosecutor, said the memo calls into question national security adviser Condoleezza Rice (news - web sites)'s assertion Thursday that the memo was purely a "historical" document.
"This is a provocative piece of information and warrants further exploration as to what was done following the receipt of this information to enhance our domestic security," he said.

Great Eastern Morning, all!
Until recently, I was what you could call a "lapsed catholic, Roman Division".
Regardless of having between little to no respect for the current socialist puppet imposter (recommended reading: In God's Name) sitting on the throne of Rome and hoping the next is more concerned with matters of religion rather than fluff.
However, muslims are bringing me back to flock.
