They just want to get their soundbites of President Bush talking about his "feelings" about 9/11 and any possible responsiblity he may accept for the attacks.
Rather than ask questions about tonight's speech, they came at him with the same accusations they've been making in the media ("Bush Knew!" "Bush Didn't Know And Dropped The Ball From Security Plans Of The Previous Administration!" "Quackmire! Quagmire!")
None of them have addressed the President's charge that the negative press (and Vietnam comparisons) only serve to embolden the terrorists. None have defended their right to diseminate false propaganda to provide aid and comfort to the enemy in a time of war and accused the president of trying to silence his critics.
