Bush sucked. Nothing new, no leadership, no direction, no national unity, no patriotism, no rally for the troops, no nothing positive, only empty meaningless drivel. LOL!!! Wait for the polls, jerkweed.
It appears you had your mind made up after your sixth beer.

LOVE THAT PICTURE. The Texan President Bush cutting cedar and brush off his ranch. In Texas we call it cedar break. When you go into the cedar break, the ground is sapped. Once you cut down all the cedar, the soil/ground comes back beautifully.

I think his speech was forceful. The question and answer session wasn't as good. It wasn't really bad but it wasn't really great, either. Bush seemed tired and he stumbled verbally a bit -- I really wish Bush had spoken more about terrorism that happened before 9/11. People need to be reminded that the 9/11 attacks were part of a continuum. That being said, the media asked Bush some really stupid and outrageous questions to try to throw him off balance -- "Mr. President, isn't it time you apologized for the 9/11 attacks?" Well, they didn't use those exact words, but something close. The media is spinning it that everything depended on Bush's 8 months but there is nothing that Clinton could have done differently for the previous 8 years. I listened to the speech and Q&A on the radio. I don't know if I would have gotten a different impression watching it on TV.

I'm as Conservative as it gets, which means I'm also honest.
Bush IS NOT any where near smart. I would guess an IQ of 85-95.
His 'heart' may be in the right place, but HE IS A DULLARD.

Well, Bush certainly spoiled it for the liberal Washington press corps who came to make him squirm.
They were and are really upset that he didn't....in fact, it was one of the best Presidential press performances on record.
He made his extremely important points in spite of the biased questions.....I am impressed!

You must have been watching a different conference than I was. I thought he was clear, enunciated his vision, expressed his concerns.
He as always expressed strong leadership, (I don't follow polls), rallied the troops (you are fighting for the noblest of causes, and its not Vietnam, and we will win.)
If Kerry wins the WH, it will be because the press is desperately shilling for him. (Come now, didn't you make a mistake? Aren't you going to apologize to the families?)
Now THAT was drivel.
To: tubavil
Bush IS NOT any where near smart. I would guess an IQ of 85-95. Well, if IQ is what you want, how come Jimmy Carter sucked as a President?
You're not very smart yourself, using a term like "any where near."

The problem with Susan Ostrich and the rest of her "ilk"...is that they have done hitched their hopes on a FREAKIN' NUT JOB, John Effin' Kerry!! They are realizing it and it's just driving them CRAZY! They have NO CHOICE but to SLANDER and LIBEL our Honorable President Bush...they have NO CHANCE IN NOVEMBER!!!
What will Kerry do if he's President?? Go to the UN, pull out all support, tax us more and spend moola like a drunken republican, er "principled moderate"...har har...

I've been an on-and-off reader, but now I can't help but share my thoughts about the press conference tonight. Bush struggled, he floundered, he wavered. This is not the strong and committed leadership I was promised when I cast my vote in 2000. This is a man who's failing in his concentration.
What show were you watching?? Not the Presidential Press Conference I saw. If you don't see what a great and truthfull man this is, then you just don't get it. Would you prefer a lier, such as bill klintoon??? If these are your thoughts, you don't belong in America. Try Iran. You definitely don't belong on FreeRepublic, the dfu would understand your silly thoughts. Troll
