Oops. Sorry old boy, I forgot to turn it off. (Note the map in post #3.) I was trying to keep it here in southern Arizona for a while so I could avoid servicing the air conditioner till after Tax Day.
Odd, ain't it? I live 25 minutes from Tombstone, Arizona and can put a heavy rifle shot into Mexico from my front porch -- and I can still see snow out my front window in April?

I really was in weather for over 10 years in the USAF and as a civilian employee of the Navy; and I have never seen this sort of rotation about the Ohio Valley in any of the climatological charts I studied or prepared.
The odd thing is that all the local stations are treating it as though it is just a temporary anomaly, nevermind that it has busted their forecasts for two days running now.
I don't really think this is the beginning of the end because I quit 9 years ago, but, who knows?
