With all due respect, resisting is not going to suffice. They are rolling over you.

Ask yourself a simple question. Are you prepared to kill Muslims because of their beliefs? If you are taken aback and balk at such a direct question then I think the you still don't realize what you are up against.

You are at war with Islam whether you want to admit it or not. They have declared war on you and you balk at them.

Americans can't imagine having to fight someone because of their "religion" and yet they can fight someone because of their "idealogy"

You were prepared to kill Russians because they were Communist (ie. their beliefs, their idealogy). What is the difference now?

So far, I would say that Islam is winning for the simple reason that Americans are idealogically unable to confront and defeat this type of enemy.

There is something here. Couple years ago I found a story about a town where the Islamic Academy wanted to move in. They gave the town badly needed funding for some water development that was terribly needed. To the tune of several million dollars as I recall. Then they donated a large sum to the local PTA. And they got their votes for what they needed, it was something about expanding the town borders, I think.

I believe it was Saudi money. A good investigator might be worth the townspeople's money.

I wonder if they hired an attorney....we helped our neighbors with one last year to stop the placement of a level 3 sex offender home only 8 miles from us. (We won.)

I hope they don't give up fighting it.

That's what I was thinking...given that Hamtramck is largely Polish, largely Catholic, the residents should insist on five full rosaries, in English, and another five, in Polish, to be broadcast daily.

Yes I am, I see it everyday. Perhaps that is why so many of my posts here at Freerepublic sound so alarmist.

Islam does NOT assimilate with other religions. Islam takes over and dominates... always. It is more of an idealogy, a way of life, rather than solely a religion.

You either have a Theocracy or a Democracy - Thinking you can create a "Democratic Theocracy" is an exercise in futility. The two are like oil and water.

Any idea whether other mosques throughout the US already broadcast their calls to prayer, and how many of them do? Is the Michigan one the first, or is it just generating more coverage?

I'm surprised that broadcasting anything by loudspeaker at 6am is considered acceptable.

A report yesterday afternoon, which correctly anticipated the vote of the council, said that the appeal is already in the works.

Not that it will make any difference IMO.

How did they broadcast over loud speakers during the first 1500 years of the existance of their religion? Seems to me that this is a more recent addition to their requirements since the advent of electricity. Let one of their religious leaders stand on top of the mosque and scream his lungs out and see how long it lasts.

Someone needs to start a "church" consisting of a building in the middle of a Muslim area, and have the biggest loudspeakers around, and blast them some really good prayers foui times a day. I wonder how they would like that religious freedom?

To be honest, I couldn't care less, as this doesn't really affect most Americans' lives.

You could not possibly be more exactly wrong in this assertion. I am going to assume that you have, or are currently receiving, a public education, so I will go easy on you.

MOST Americans believe in G-d. MOST Americans--and I stress, MOST--are Christians. A local governing council allowing a religious minority special priveleges not granted to a religious majority certainly affects MOST Americans. It is sending a very dangerous message to all other city councils: give Muslims what they want, period. This affects you, as well as MOST Americans, far more than you realize.

It won't be two years. Islam together with CAIR are forcasting the complete takeover of the United States by the year 2020.

At the moment, everything is proceeding according to schedule. In fact to be honest, it seems a bit faster than actually predicted.

Laugh if you want, this is not a joke. It is very serious. The matter has been subject to intense debate in various Muslim countries on how to proceed.

The documents outlining this are available to anyone except much of them are printed in Arabic and some in Malay and Kelantanese. I translated some and posted them before. They are frightning. Like reading "Mein kampf" before 1939.

I didn't get much of a response before, I think people either didn't care, didn't believe, considered me an alarmist crackpot or all three.
