5am call to prayer. That sucks. Will they next allow the 3am Koran reading too?

i've spent time in Indonesia, and all the loud speakers start up at 3am with the Koran reading, then 5am for the call to prayer, and it continues all through the day until around 10pm. I think there may be something at 12am, but i don't remember.

You got it. Just wait until the citizens get this in their ears day and night. This council really doesn't have a clue or have been bought off

Our daughter lived below a group of Muslim students at U of AL years ago. They hit their knees twice during sleeping hours with a loud thump and started chanting prayers. She moved as soon as her lease was up. Lived there with her 4 year old and was afraid to complain to housing after the first time--nothng was done by housing, but the disturbances got worse. These people think they are right, fanatically, and intend to get their way. Someone above said the camel is in the tent up to his rear end--No! The camel is in the tent, including his tail , has parked himself in the middle of the tent and is braying (or whatever noise camels make) at top decibel.
