I'd like the '67 Triumph Bonneville to go please.

Not that I would offer my '67 Bonnie for sale (bought from the first owner in 1977 and ridden, rebuilt, ridden, rebuilt, ridden since)or my '73 or my '71....if you ever pick one up, feel free to drop me a line for tips on what to do to it reliability and performance-wise. Good luck finding a bargain. My '67 cost me $400.00 and a case of tall boys.

You may get lucky finding one tucked-away at a non-dealer HD shop. My '73 cost me $200.00 when I offered to drag it out from behind a stack of straightleg frames, XA springers (4 of them), a JD, about 25 assorted gas tanks and a 3/4 there UL. Yes, I know where this stuff is and NO, I'm NOT TELLIN (still haggling over the UL).

Baxter Cycle in Marne, IA, just outside of Omaha has a jillion Limeys. Anytime I need to be in Omaha I dial in a couple of hours for a drooling session.
My last bike was a 72 Norton 850. The valve stem seals were gone by the time I got the bike and it was not a good idea to stand directly behind the bike on cold start-up. Engine oil would shoot out of the twin pea-shooter exhaust and lubricate the turn signals.

I've always like Brit bikes, though I've never ridden any motorcycle. If I did, I'd do the same as when I started shooting my gun--take a thorough safety course, then practice, practice, practice.

Discovery Home and Leisure had a recent show from the UK called "A Bike is Born" where the host restores a Bonneville (along with a 40's HD military bike). Damn nice bike.
