Why or how are the Jordanians getting these cowards to speak so quickly, and secondly, why are they broadcasting what they are saying? There has to be a reason.

I heard this discussed today. The King of Jordon is fairly moderate and the citizens do not believe the danger is real from Al Queda. They usually have been secretive about these things. But now with this large attempt, this is an effort to show the people the threat is very real and hence Jordon's moderate cooperation with us IS justified.

don't forget the Jordanian royal family also has a history of marrying Westeren women which may not sit well with al queda folks either
