I guess we will have to wait and see. See if these 4 Iraqi generals are with us or against us. If the insurgents let them (the 4 generals) live either they ((the 4 generals) either can handle it or they are in with the insurgents. If the insurgents don't let them (the 4 generals) live then we will know what time it is. Hopefully no more of our guys will perish in this Fallujah mess that we did not quash from day one. They despise weakness. More Americans will die. Someone please send Generals who know how to fight and have the dignity to honor the sacrifices of our Armed Forces.

I'm hoping this is just part of a game plan and the Marines REALLY aren't moving out! I'm still hoping Bob Dole will defeat Bill Clinton in 1996 too.

It's pretty funny reading your comments knowing that this report wasn't true.
Aren't you and your naysayer cronies a wee bit embarrassed??

let's all take a deep breath and wait until it all pans out. CNN was running at the mouth with this story, while at the same time showing what they labeled as "NEW VIDEO" showing an Abrams destroying a Fallujah building and a fighter dropping a bomb there. it didn't look like the Welcome Wagon to me.

Agreed, I got fooled a few weeks back by the relief column bring thru our lines report. Swore I would not be fooled again. But I took the bate again. Oh well, but one thing seems to become clearer, this pull back was not Bush's doing, maybe the truth will come out in a day or too.

Charlie Rose often has thinktank types on..CFR grandfathers like Kissinger,Brzenzski,Leslie Gelb,
Military retired..analysts from startegic houses.
The debate spins down to a common point.
If Iraq goes..we loose the oil.
Terror will spread..Iran will proxy more..and oil will become an extortion reality.
After the French tanker got blitzed in Yemeni waters..shipping Insurance..just for a tanker[oil cargo a seperate insurance reality] went from $150,000 per tanker to $450,000..on a one way trip in Persian gulf waters.
all this is not going to be eaten by shipping companies and other brokers...so we get to pay..and we do..as our gas prices soar.
Inflation is returning...some of this is directly due to the cost of the war on terror.
Islam is extorting us..from Saudi talking heads to Insurance companies and shipping firms kicking chairs accross rooms.
Personally..I hope they do segment Iraq into 3 states..then go on Syria and Iran.
Democracy later....when their is silence..kinda like the Noah/flood story : )

we can't lose the war over there. the real war is here at home: the Democrats, the media, and the sheeple. and sadly, if you listen to Michael Savage for example, alot of people on "our side" it seems.

Nuke Fallujah and be done with it. Then let's see how many countries start pulling their own "Libyas".

You are correct. When asked who would make the call whether to take the city by force or back off and negotiate they said that, that was a political decision and that it would be made by the state department also.
You have two types of people in a conflict. Fighters and talkers. You use the talkers before the fight or after the fighting is over. You bring them in during the fight and your going to get your head handed to you.
We have overwhelming power and we let these people kill our troops on a daily basis, and dare us to do anything about it and we won't because we might some of the rest of them mad. How stupid is that?
