You can't fire civil servants.

Ashcroft even went to Congress to ask if he could fire some of them; they said no. So they were moved laterally.

Oh jeese, that's been said so many times, that I was hoping the people making allegations had known that. I get so tired of the "clean them out" routine on here.

Nope, but you can move them all to an important new federal office in Adak Alaska...

You can't fire civil servants.

You can, but there has to be cause. You can't just fire them because you want someone else in the job (otherwise my cubicle buddie would be long gone!)
