My guess: Rumsfeld has already handed in his resignation. Bush is holding it - waiting to make the decision to accpet, or not.If Rumsfeld resigns or is canned, the war is over - and Bush cannot afford to do that.
Rumsfeld is staying - at least - through the election, but I fear that he may be out in a second term. :(

Well, I love President Bush and I believe that this Country may never recover should he be removed from the White House at this time.....BUT, if he dumps Rumsfeld over this crap, Bush WILL lose my vote!! I guess that would mean that I wouldn't get to vote, because I damn sure wouldn't vote for a traitorous Dem!
Perhaps I should double up on my blood pressure meds tonight!
