No, CAIR is nothing at all like the Catholic League, but instead very much like the Brown Shirts. You obviously no nothing of either group, nor their respective belief systems.

I'll debate you any time on Catholic theology. But you need to realize that every faith has a political arm. Heck, even the Witches have one! I don't have to agree with their theology, as long as I can get them to coexist peacefully with us. The goal here is to teach democracy, not hatred. Islam can live in a democracy... I know a lot of patriotic (I live in the US) Muslims.

Personally, I think they have some growing to do in this area (I could be mistaken, but that is what I think). But spitting in their face is not the way to bring them into the fold.

We must focus on our goal: eradicating terrorism. We won't eradicate it bey eradicating Islam, any more than we eradicated the KKK by eradicating Southern Democrats. The idea is conversion to a better political model (e.g., Republicanism).
