Ah, Archimedes would have pwned you, and you know it!
How'd I get pulled into this?
How'd I get pulled into this?
I don't know, but may I loan you a towel?
Thank you fine Athenian citizen.
Too many times, those with opposing views have been unfairly called "trolls" - I have seen it happen to longtime members and it is very disheartening.

Well, I don't consider this issue to be one of "free speech" and, or "truth" in speech. In this instance, it is about property and the right to develope and use your property the way you see fit to use it.
Those who complain about FR's "destruction" or a restriction on their strawman of "free speech", are hypocrites and display their ignorance, or willingness to lie about the foundation(s) of the problem (not that your concerns vis-a-vis speech are such). In regards to the issue I raised, it is a compound hypocrisy, because they defame for "banning", but utilize their right to do so, also, and for the very same stated/claimed reasons.
Indeed, they have a monolithic set of 'members' who instantly attack dissent and issue abusive comments. Then, when the dissenter replies, in-kind, they use that catch-22 to 'ban' them for 'abuse/spamming'. . .and not that this site doesn't 'have' them, too.
However, the comparison is quite dramatic between FR and other sites who complain about them. The 'spammers', here, generally remain unbanned, Right or Left, but not so on the "Hypocrite Sites", where their petty tyrannical attitude(s) insure the almost instant dissmissal of any dissent or disagreement. Indeed, it is obvious that by being re-banned from one of them, that they don't want to examine facts and face the responsibility for their own words and actions. . .
Which, in my opinion, is a death-knell for any idea that they are actually anything like conservatives. . .
