Hate to burst your bubble, but Cosby is an avowed leftie who snubed Dr. Rice not too long ago.
He always has had no love for black people who he thinks make them look bad, when def jam comedy was on HBO he would berate russel simmons and the comics like crazy as nothing more than minstrels.
People are sometimes too complex to fit in the boxes we want them to stay in. His words here are funny and true and very needed from him. I'll applaud it... That doesn't mean I own any of his other work I might not like!
But he is a different kind of liberal. His show was wholesome and entertaining --- unlike typical liberal shows. No one was sleeping around, no one was homosexual, the parents were monogamous.
