Is it a hoax? I always thought it was a little strange that he had died of lung cancer yet had never smoked. I know that's possible, but not exactly probable.

If he really is alive how could he remain incognito for all these years???

Andy thrived on drawing attention to himself. How could he go cold turkey for twenty years?

Is it a hoax???? You betcha. And I don't even think it's Zmuda. What was the big tipoff? In his pictures at the Bunny Ranch, he refered to Tony Clifton as a "character". Tony was NEVER a character; he was a completely separate person in Andy's world. Zmuda knew that.

He was treated for lung cancer for only 5 months prior to his death; it metastasized 2 months after first diagnosis, it is hardly likely they buried the wrong man.

I hope it is true, but hard to believe! I loved his character on TAXI, one of the funniest things around in those days.

lung cancer? I see from some other posts that that is what he died of but all these years I thought he died in a boxing accident.
