Dear K: Thanks for post. I must say that I find it absurd that an institution training people for war is afraid that some women who might be bothered by the use of the word, "men", in a song are simultaneously going to be capable of battle or handling shipboard life. On one hand, the admiral acts like these women are delicate little hot house orchids who simply aren't tough enough to hear the word, "men", in a song without getting the vapors, but then at the same time, expecting these same women to enter the armed services, where they'll be expected to assist in killing and dealing with sailors and Marines. Seems to me that the Admiral is being patronizing to the academy women. Or the selection process for admission is dire need of repair.
Certainly the selection process for supers is in need of overhall. When was this twit appointed and by whom?
