They didn't give me time! The look on their faces, though, was absolutely priceless! It was a middle-aged man and woman, in their Sunday best. I was afraid they'd have heart attacks.
What did they expect? It was DAYTONA, for God's sake, in a trailer park, at a trailer with a Trans-Am (mine...so I've got a streak of Redneck...) in the driveway and other cars parked on the lawn.

Yeah, there were people on that one who thought it was okey-dokey to burn down businesses they didn't like.

Not surprising.
There are a few people on FR who think Eric Rudloph is a hero, too.
ALL fanatics are dangerous.

"ALL fanatics are dangerous." Some people, it seems, support terrorism when it advances THEIR goals.
It continually amazes me how many people do not, in the final analysis, truly support Liberty.

You noticed that, too, huh?
I've tried religion several times.
I finally gave it up for Lent.....

Your reply to my questions was RUDE. No, it wasn't. But even if it was, pot, kettle.
You seem to have no problem being rude. Polite firmness, which is quite a different thing, is something that perhaps you should work on. Having a spine does not equal rudeness.

Does this apply to the "homosexual agenda" I hear about so much around here, as well? Yes. Groups try to recruit. It is their nature.
Some of the Gay Group are very nice and pleasant people. So are some of the Harri Krisha's, JW's, Mormons, Catholics, Evangelicals, Wiccins and liberals that have tried to convert me. Some are not.
If they are pleasant and I have the time I hear them out. If they are not then I politely but firmly say that I am not interested.

On FR I have rarely seen such utter contempt for the freedom of speech as I have seen on this thread.
Some here have all but stated that their imaginary right not to be annoyed trumps the free speech rights of those who share their faith.
Sorry folks, but freedom of speech is still constitutional, at least until spineless crybabies such as you get into power.

See my solution in post #48. It works, and is quite permanent. You can embellish it to suit yourselves, of course, but I found that the simple approach was best.
Fun, too, afterwards.

I do not claim a right not to be annoyed or offended, but I DO reserve all rights to make sport of those who attempt to annoy me. I don't want or need the government for THAT, in fact, it's more fun to do it myself.

"Having a spine does not equal rudeness."
Depends on the way you go about it. You went about it the wrong way and you came off as being rude. You implied that I am spineless because I don't want to deal with those who want to inflict their religious beliefs on me.
Look....you and I are not going to agree, so let's leave it at that...okay?
