It looks to me like the Muslim faith peaked in the 12th century. Its been worse than stagnant -- its gone downhill ever since. Doubt it any modern Muslim kids in the madrases would know what an astrolabe it, or how to use it. But I bet you they can tell you the fault of everything on this planet is due to the Jews or the Americans. And as long they can fill their hearts with hate, and scream their death chants, they will convince themselves that they are humanity's best hope.

Indeed. They regard everything that has gone against them, from the reconquesta of Spain to the Iraq war, as merely temporary setbacks in Allah's program to have the entire world ruled exactly as Mahomet envisoned things in the 7th century.
