I agree. What I'd like to know is how they were able to determine that she had sex with someone else AFTER and not BEFORE the Kobe encounter.
The defense is doing a great job of trying the case in the media. I'm sure if it goes to trial Kobe will get a fair trial and be judged according to reasonable doubt.What little of it I've paid attention to hasn't convinced me either way. It could be someone looking for an easy payday or it could be someone who is apparently pretty loose that actually was raped. Kobe would be neither the first celeb to be victimized nor would he be the first to think he was above the law.It's tough when neither person has very good credibility

It's an interesting look, however, at the lynch-mob mentality.
She has sex with another man hours after she was supposed to have been raped. It was most likely with the star witness for the procecution. She lied to the police about it.
The first person to see her (not the procecutions star witness) said she looked fine and used her job as a dating service.

And, I know this is probably the LAST thing on his mind - but - she's pretty much taken away his big earning power. He's losing the corporate endorsements, and his life will change because of that alone. She'll go on to have movies made, have her story sold to the "media," and be in our face on every news show spouting off about women's rights and the rape shield law, and how she was wronged (if like William Kennedy Smith, he's found not guilty). Spare me!
I get the picture that you belive what you are fed by the media if it concerns a sports idol. I don't believe I'll ever be convinced either way on this. Some people though wouldn't believe a video tape if Kobe and the media said it wasn't true.I hope for the sake of the woman that she is lying, because there won't be a conviction. As far as Kobe goes, he should learn a lesson and be more careful when screwing around on his wife.

Try to take a look at the know facts
The facts according to your idols lawyers. This is typical in a rape case and magnified in a celebrity case. What happened before and after the incident is of very little value. Is it possible to rape a prostitute? The answer is yes, even if you have the money, no means no. If she said no to Kobe, then rape is the charge. Your attitude of attacking the accuser is the reason the vast majority of rapes are never reported. Don't try and dramatize your idols plight with this life in prison crap. Even if he were somehow convicted he wouldn't get more than a slap on the wrist

For the life of me and as a woman, I can not imagine having sex after being raped. It's not going to be something a normal woman would want or enjoy. She's nothing more than an opportunist and Kobe is her victim.
Somebody probably has noticed this already; but, how can a lab test determine that the sex was consensual?

I have first hand knowledge of a woman who was raped coming on to someone who assisted her after the incident. (yes, hours after)
Then she wasn't actually raped, she just said she was. All I can say is.......if I were actually raped....they would have had to beat the livin sh*t out of me to accomplish that....otherwise I was only playing hard to get, and teased the poor smuck right into it, KNOWING full well I was asking for it and I had put myself in that situation. No as a matter of fact Mr know it all she was kidnapped, raped and beaten. If it hadn't been for the kidnapping part the perp would have walked. You are letting your idol worship of celebs and your over indulgence in network news form your opinion.
