At least a quarter of the gasoline stations in metropolitan New Orleans sold tainted fuel to customers recently, more than twice as many as earlier revealed.

That means significantly more local motorists bought gasoline that contains too much sulfur, which could cause their gas gauges to get stuck. It's true. My uncle lives in New Orleans, and his car had diarrhea for a week. Tainted fuel.
