Hayworth/Watts good and intelligent men. Electable? Doubtful.

Damn right they are electable. HRC will be the DemonRat nominee in 08. Do you think she will carry ONE state in the south? Watts has broad appeal, and Hayworth is very likeable. While we are just having fun with this now, I would love to see one or both of these men run in 08.

Hayworth/Watts would be formidable against HRC. Both so articulate. Hayworth a fine debater, as is Watts.Maybe too good to be the candidates. How often are the best chosen?

Of course they are. Most political candidates are "electable", except for those running in a few states or districts that are hardly tilted to the right or left.

All this "electability" talk is nothing more than a way for the party establishment to frighten people into voting against the lesser known candidates.

Remember that a lot of the "experts" said that Reagan was unelectable in 1980. Fortunately, most Americans disregarded the "expert advice" they were offered.
