Walter Cronkite was the most trusted man in America during his tenure as anchor of CBS television news. His political ideology never was permitted to slant coverage of the news he reported. His stories were direct and to the point. After leaving that trusted position he made his opinions clear.

Huh???

Although I completely agree that the press is biased today, it has been biased for a long time. Cronkite may have handled some stories in a non-partisan fashion, but certainly not Vietnam. He sure didn't wait to get off camera before making his personal views on that known, and going even farther by presenting his personal views as objective, newsworthy facts. The Press Court website has a good idea, but they need to rethink their philosophy if Walter Cronkite is their standard for good tv journalism!
