I'm disheartened by the rudeness, arguing, and intemperate language used by many in this thread about the honoring of such a great man. I turned to this thread for comfort among fellow Reagan admirers, and find churlishness instead.
As far as the "Get it through your head" post, my printed schedule identified this as the State Funeral Ceremony.
This has been a memorable day and week, with more to come. I hope we can all exhibit the class toward each other in the days to come which was one of the hallmarks of President Reagan's life. President Reagan had strong views but presented them with grace, humor, and civility.
With sincere best wishes to all --
There will never be another Ronald Reagan, of course.
But we need a multitude of leaders in America who, like Dutch, carry the conservative banner and message with grace, humility, dogged determination and great good humor.
They're out there. It is up to us to raise them up.
God bless America.
