"I believe we may agree on most aspects of this – especially that the two of them head the list of our greatest leaders."

On that, we most certainly do agree.

I believe, that Ronald Reagan's life, was to show us the way, for the rebirth of free people and thereby free nations.

Freedom is a necessary condition of human life. One must be free to chose one course over another if one is to survive on earth, whether alone in the jungle, or in New York City.

Relinquishing that most-basic and most-necessary of human decisions to people with "superior knowledge" in a far away city has caused death and decay everywhere and everytime it has been tried.

Which is why Bush's "Homeland Security" effort to federalize our safety is doomed to fail.

Security is a duty for which each of us must be responsible.

BTW, I am sure you have noted and have appreciated the logistics and planning triumph of the last week.

You can know your father's love by what he does for you, yet you can also know a father's love by his restraint.

Good morning Joanie.

Your tribute to Mr. Reagan is magnificent.

Your description of the day in Washington to pay your respects made me feel as though I were there myself.

Thank you for alerting me to your words and thoughts on FR as I do not visit as much as I had in previous years.

God be with you, my friend.

Absolutely beautiful (both the tender images and the familiar music). They rekindled recent memories and brought many tears, yet again.

Thank you so much.

You're welcome Joanie,
I stumbled onto that site yesterday and almost posted it as its own thread---it's in a good thread here, so I'll leave the link as is. The rest of the site is good too.
