Thank you for the kind comments, Jeff. So sorry that your Mom is ill, and that you won't be able to make it to Simi Valley (my two sisters and I had vowed that, had there not been a ceremony in Washington, we would have flown out there, so yesterday was a blessing).

We have lost the greatest President this country has ever known -- a rare man in whom faith, honesty, courage, compassion, and character-laden vision were perfectly and heorically combined.

I believe the good Lord will raise up more like him in our hour of need. He gave us Ronald Reagan...and with God all things are possible, particularly if there are a steadfast, faithful remnent of His people here, trying to live by His standards...and I believe there is more than just a remnant...there are tens and tens of millions.

As you know, I still hold George Washington in the pole position Joanie...but to me, Ronald Reagan is a very near second, and that is saying some very grand things about both of these great, godly, virtuous and gifted men.

I see from the thread that your hubby got on Rush...what a GREAT opportunity and experience and a real cap to your experience.
