Any U.S Fast Food Chain Doing An Election Poll? (Lick's Burgers Makes News In Canada!)

Is there any U.S Fast Food chain that's runnung a poll? Lick's Burger in Canada has a record of predicting election outcomes better than the polls. They predicted last year's provincial Liberal win in Ontario. In the June 28th federal election, they are predicting 41% for the Conservatives, 25% for the Liberals and 23% for the New Democratic Party. Which would give Canada its first CP majority government ever!
TOPICS: Business/Economy; Canada; Constitution/Conservatism; Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: canada; electionyear; us
For some reason, people don't lie about what they spend in a restaurant. They'll lie to pollsters but never to their fast food joint! Does anyone have a fast food poll here in the U.S? If so please post it.

Taco Bell did one during the California recall, but I don't know how it turned out.
It was something about a chalupa....

I think they showed Arnold on top. You see, people don't lie about what goes down their mouths. I'd love to see a chain do a national poll. It would be interesting to see what diners' preferences are in the presidential contest.

7-Eleven did one in the 2000 election. You could buy coffee in a Bush cup or a Gore cup. I never heard how it finished.

I had a Tory-Homeburger yesterday with extra guk. Scrumptious!

I take it you're in a good mood? It does look like the Liberals are on the run. They may collapse faster than Kim Campbell's Tories did in 1993 - when the ruling party lost all but 2 seats in the House Of Commons. It almost killed Canada's conservatives as a political force and here they are back a decade later poised to take back the reins of power. I wish you guys success in dumping Paul Martin and the Fiberals.

My fingers are crossed. I'm going to the local returning office Monday to vote in advance. I've already convinced a couple of people that a vote for Martin is a vote for the Chretien legacy and continued shenanigans. My challenge is to try and change the minds of Liberal and NDP canvassers who show up at my door. I can't have a lawn sign with no lawn (apartment tower) so it's going to be ambush time!

I am a US citizen, Canadian landed immigrant who lives in Victoria, BC. My colleagues at the University where I serve as faculty alternate between panic and depression about this election.

Let me guess: they're all Liberals. One prediction is safe though: the Liberals won't win a single riding west of Manitoba.
