It's sad that American matrimony has gone from being anything from a reasonable
arrangement to a pain-inducing/cash-extracting experience for males.
In less than a generation or so.
If this wasn't true, Tom Leykis would be unemployed.

My advice is first find a conservative. Conservative women tend to be left brainers . Liberal women are right brainers, all emotion, little or no rationation.
Emotional people are stuck on the It's all about me merry go round. They can't accept personal responsibility , and are born victims. Born victims have to have an excuse for everything.
I think the list is pretty much on the money. Lust is a lot of fun but love gets you through the hard parts.
You should make it a rule to forget about fights as soon as they happen. You also need to rule your tongue. Name calling and blaming have no place in a marriage.
After 26 yrs , I also advise that after a good ventilation to go directly to the bedroom and make up.
Ask a person who won the lottery if gambling is worth it and what answer might you expect to get? In America, marriage is a huge gamble, especially for men, where the stakes are your children and everything you've ever worked for.
