When did "Documentary" take on this objectivity meaning you ascribe? Documenatries have always been advocacy pieces. We had an excellent Right wing one about the Waco massacre a few years ago - award winning "documentary". Documentaries come in all forms and for many purposes and need not be and in fact fail if they are objective.
If Moore is challened by the fact we can easily make a movie on how Bush is the oppossite of how Moore portrays him.
First off.... Michael Moore presents his political views as facts in his latest movie, there is no thought challenging aspects of it, just propganda in it's purist form.
To compare anything written about what happened in Waco to the bald faced lies of Michael Moore is a joke.
Not to mention that I'm having a hard time remembering the awards you speak of for the Waco massacre documentaries that never saw the big screen?
