I agree on the need for a point by point rebuttal. I know it is early but we need some rebuttals at least for some of the major points in the movie.

Has anyone rebutted the Saudi and Bin Laden connection to Bush crap?

That one right there should be easy to do and would be a good one to throw in thrir faces.

hmm, I think I am going to start doing some research.

And since I haven't seen a thread dedicated to revealing the lies in the movie poster, let me provide this:

"This Film Is Not Yet Rated" - BS, it was and is rated R. The R rating was on appeal (not overturned) but it WAS rated. The studio just didn't like the rating they got.

President Bush never shook hands with the man in the black shirt.

The man in the black shirt is not Michael Moore, although his head has been pasted onto this thinner body.

Michael Moore has asserted that he had final edit of this film up to the US screening date. He made it quite clear that he was probably going to change some things after the Cannes screening (I do not know if there were any alterations). If he did alter the film, then this is NOT the film that was awarded the top prize at Cannes. The Oscar committee does make this distinction (you can't modify the film after its qualifying LA run).

We can also look at the left's assertion that efforts to block the advertising of this film as the election nears using FEC law is "censorship". On this I agree, but it is another convenient lie because Campaign Finance Reform ITSELF is government censorship that abridges the right to free speech. What better battering ram to use to toss out the unconstitutional law than Michael Moore?
