Thank you for your service to your community. But, the original question was "should there be a law that requires me to wear a belt"?...
Ok...I thank you now we have that in the clear...personally I feel that there should be a law for seatbelts. I am glad to see they are making us enforce that law, however, I do not feel that, and I don't, pull people over for just seatbelts...they must be severly violating another traffic law for me to pull them over. Understand though that the people who passed this law has made it probable cause to initiate a traffic stop. I would, and have, given people ample opportunities to buckle up. I have a saying..."first one is on me, second one is on you."
