If the crux of your argument is that medical costs shouldn't be spread around so that the destitute and uninsured aren't treated, I couldn't agree more. Socialism trumps freedom where ever it is practiced.

The crux of my argument is that those who choose not to wear seat belts should be responsible for their own costs in the event they are involved in an accident...be it out of their own pocket, or insurance company.
